Lange Odyssee mit gutem Ende

Eine lange Odyssee ging nun zu meiner Zufriedenheit zu Ende:
Ich habe im Dezember 2022 eine Uhr gekauft. Dem Kauf voran ging meine schriftliche Anfrage, ob das Uhrglas Saphir sei, was mir schriftlich bestätigt wurde.
Im Oktober 2023 bekam die Uhr nach leichter Berührung mit einem metallischen Gegenstand einen Kratzer. Klarer Fall: Das kann kein Saphirglas sein, sondern hier handelt es sich lediglich um Mineralglas! (Ich kenne mich mit Uhren sehr gut aus.) Somit habe ich die Uhr umgehend bei Nordgreen reklamiert. Auf mehrere Mails erhielt ich keine Reaktion.
Dies änderte sich fast eineinhalb Jahre später: Im März 2025 meldete sich plötzlich Nordgreen bei mir mit der Ankündigung, die Angelegenheit zu meiner Zufriedenheit beizulegen.
Nach einigen unerfreulichen Mail-Wechseln, in denen ich von Nordgreen mit Unwahrheiten konfrontiert wurde, erhielt ich Anfang Mai eine neue Uhr; die alte - mit Kratzern - darf ich behalten.
Hätte das ganze Prozedere nicht so lange gedauert und wäre Nordgreen im Kontakt mit mir ehrlicher gewesen, würde ich 5 Sterne vergeben. Weil mich der Vorgang viel Zeit und Nerven gekostet hat, bis er schließlich ein gutes Ende fand, ziehe ich 2 Sterne ab.
