Where are our products made?
Our products are designed in Denmark and manufactured in PRC danish-owned factory that adhere to the highest standards while following Danish labour practises.
Watch & Strap Length Measurements
Our straps come in one size only per watch head size. We do offer different sizes of the straps such as 16mm, 18mm and 20mm, that fit with the 32mm, 36mm and 40mm/42mm watch heads respectively, and they cannot be interchanged between each other.
Vegan Leather Straps
Yes! We sell vegan leather straps! Its top consist of polycarbonate polyurethane surface + reinforced rayon backing \ and back of polyester non-woven (with 100% recycled ultra-micro fiber) with a non-fibrous polyurethane binder. All our Mesh & Nylon & 3 Link & 5 Link straps are completely vegan as well.
What kind of material is used for Nylon Straps?
100% recycled polyester is used for all our Nylon Straps. Yes, we do care about our Mother Earth.
What if my leather strap is too short?
We are sorry to hear that, but luckily we do have an XL version of the 18mm leather strap that suits our 36mm watches. Although we only have brown, black, and navy blue leather straps.
Otherwise, mesh or nylon straps are longer products in comparison to leather straps. Alternatively, what we recommend in this case is to either make an exchange to a 40mm watch where the strap is accordingly longer and potentially is a perfect fit.

Are your watches unisex?
Yes. All our watches look great on everyone. However, typically the 28 mm, 32mm and 36mm sizes are best suited for women, while the 36mm, 40mm, and 42mm watches are best suited for men.
Which movement type is used in Nordgreen watches?
Native, Philosopher, Infinity, Pioneer and Unika have Japanese movements produced by Miyota. They make the most precise movement in the world. Guardian is an automatic watch using Miyota Calibre.
What type of leather are the straps made of?
All of our leather straps are made of genuine Italian high-quality leather. Please be aware that the leather strap is subject to a natural part of the real leather aging process.
Are Nordgreen watches water-resistant and what is ATM?
Yes, all Nordgreen watches are water resistant - but be careful! This does not mean that you can wear any Nordgreen watch when you shower or jump in the water. The level of how much water the watch can withstand is defined by its ATM.
The ATM relates to the level of water pressure a watch is designed to withhold. If you’re looking for a watch to wear while going for a swim, you should choose a 10 ATM or higher, while 3 & 5 ATM watches can withstand accidental splashes but aren’t designed to be worn when jumping in the pool or taking a shower while wearing them.
The Nordgreen watches come with 3, 5, and 10 ATM water resistance.

What material do you use for the watch glass?
Hardened mineral glass that is a scratch and impact-resistant glass applied to the three models: Infinity, Native, and Philosopher. Sapphire Crystal glass on the Guardian, Pioneer, and Unika.
What materials are used for Nordgreen watches?
We use 316L stainless steel for the metal parts, meaning watch cases, mesh straps, link straps, chain straps and buckles on other kinds of straps. This material isalso called surgical stainless steel and to behypoallergenic.
Can I use Nordgreen straps on other watch brands?
It depends if your current watch has quick release mechanism. In general, all our straps are made in standard sizes. Our current collection uses straps as follows: - 28 mm watch fits 14 mm strap - 32mm watch fits 16mm strap - 36mm uses 18mm strap - 40mm and 42mm watches fit 20mm straps and they cannot be interchanged between each other.
What batteries are used for Nordgreen watches?
Here you can find the batteries in your watch.
- SR621SW - Native 32mm, Native 36mm, Native 40mm, Philosopher 36mm, Philosopher 40mm
- SR521SW - Native 28mm, Unika 32mm, Inifinity 32mm
- SR416SW - Unika 28mm
- SR927W - Pioneer 42mm
However, please note that we don't suggest replacing the battery by yourselves, as it requires some special tools and you could damage the case and back of the watch. Battery replacement on your own can void the warranty and we would not be able to help you in case the watch is damaged or cannot be closed again.
Please visit your local watchmaker or jeweler to get the battery replaced.

For adjustment of your mesh strap, you can use your finger or a small metal object to unlock the adjustment piece. Slide the piece to the wished position and carefully lock the piece back in place. Video guide on link strap
In order to adjust the length of the link strap, a professional tool is required to add, or remove the links.
Therefore, if you need to adjust the link to fit your wrist perfectly, you should go to any watch shop or jeweler, and bring the additional links you have received in the box.
It depends on the store, but most will be able to perform the adjustment for free or for a small fee. The adjustment of the link will not void the warranty, however, you can no longer return, or exchange the strap.

Align the chrono second-hand (Pioneer)
How to align the chrono second hand on your Pioneer: Just follow these steps:
- Please pull out the main (middle) crown fully up to the end.
- Then keep pressing the top button of the chrono. The chrono second hand should slowly start moving. Please be patient.
- When you get to the preferred position, you can push the main crown back. This should solve this issue. Watch the video guide here:
