A properly sized watch strap ensures balance and comfort on your wrist. When a metal bracelet fits correctly, the case sits naturally, the clasp aligns with your wrist’s curve, and the watch feels effortless to wear.
If your Nordgreen watch feels a little loose out of the box, that’s completely normal. Metal links are designed for adjustment — and you can easily size them at home.
Before you begin, set up a soft workspace to prevent scratches and prepare a few simple tools: a small hammer, a fine screwdriver, pliers or tweezers, and a pin pusher (or a spring bar tool).
Then, follow these key steps:
Locate the direction arrows — Turn the watch over and look for small arrows inside the metal links. These indicate the direction in which the pins should be pushed out.
Measure how many links to remove — Wear your watch, pinch the excess links on both sides of the clasp, and count how many you need to take out for an even, comfortable fit.
Push out the pins carefully — Use your pin pusher to gently tap the pins in the direction of the arrows. Remove them and set aside the links and pins in a small tray.
Reattach the bracelet — Once you’ve removed the right number of links, align the ends and reinsert the pins to secure the bracelet again.
These few minutes of careful work will ensure your timepiece feels custom-made.
